anyway i'm going to be going to the university everyday, so i need something that is reliable and something that i don't have to work on except putting oil in (yeah, i love working on cars but it's something i have to sacrifice to become a doctor). So i have a bunch of other decisions:
1. 2004-2006 Mazda6
2. 2006 VW GTi
3. '09-'10 Mitsubishi Lancer
4. 2005-2009 Mazda3 (3 or 5 door, doesn't matter)
5. 2006-2008 Acura TL or TSX.
which would be the most reliable and probably offer the most mileage before they break down on me?
btw i prefer a car with a manual trans, and a think a 4 cylinder is probably the best choice. unless someone can come up with a better list of cars, that would be much appreciated, because i am still stuck on that RX-8.
*i don't want a Ford, and maybe Acura's are a little too much for now.
Suggestion:
My answer in order of preference:
Mazda 3 — inexpensive; fun to drive; very reliable
Acura's — pricey but could well be worth it — very reliable — check auto insurance rates
Mazda 6 — about the same price as a Mazda 3 but not as much fun, but does offer more room — reliable however.
Volkswagon and Mitsubishi — only if you want to scrub the grease from your hands extra hard from always having to repair them.
