Which is Better and Cost Less to Customize; Honda Integra or Honda Civic?

I decided to sell my 2004 kia rio and use the money to buy a more faster and manly car that is FAST and easy and cheap to customize. I narrow my search down to a Honda civic and a Honda integra. which one is cooler looking and faster please give me advice, please leave the year, model, and sub(ex.EX,LX,etc) model of the car that i should choose. Also put any other car that u may approved of. I'm trying to beat my friend, that have a Acura Integra, i think it a 1991 or a 1995, no sure, he only got a few bolts ons. but it fast

Suggestion:

you can try to find an ITR…but expect to spend A LOT of money on just the car itself…
anyway theres not much difference between civics and integras. mainly engine (which you can swap out anyway) and size…civics are smaller and lighter. i personally like integras better: they're a bit more stable to take fast turns with then civics, but thats up to you.
theres several ways to go about building up an engine. you could use a b20 block with a vtec head and high comp pistons and go with an all motor set up, or you could get a b18xx engine and go with F/I.
it really depends on which set up you want to go (normal aspiration opposed to forced induction), what you know how to do yourself, what you can find in your price range, and how much you're willing to spend.

How is that you want a Honda Integra buy your friend has an Acura Integra? They really the same car the Civic and Integra. Get one with a VTEC motor in it both of them come with them.

The Integra Type-R is really what you're going for here. Sticking with the Honda/Acura group, if you want straight-line fast and manly, you may just want to find an Accord coupe (98-02) with the NSX-style back end (which I prefer) and V6 and go from there, starting with stripping it out to save weight.

See the link below for what I've always considered the ultimate Integra.

For me go for Honda Civic, if your looking for faster, easy and cheaper to customize. They are more practical to use and to customize. Hope this help!
