Update: My Car Dies After It Successfully Jump Starts!?

Yesterday I jump started my car on the first try, turned it off after about 5 minutes, then turned it back on, and then drove it around for about 30 minutes. Today, I went to turn it on and it wouldn't. Also, it might help to tell you that I didn't drive my car for the last 3 months. I had my friend turn it on (but not drive it) for about 10 minutes once a week throughout the 3 month period. What should I do? Thank you!

Also, if I decide to charge the battery, how long should I?

Suggestion:

I would suggest you remove the battery and take it to an auto parts store, let them charge it and run a load test. This should tell you if the battery is good or not. Some auto parts stores will do this for free.
