Rustproofing is just a way for the dealer to make money. I do not recommend it at all. If the rustproofing is applied on a wet or humid day, the moisture in the air will be trapped in interior surfaces.
The warranties on rustproofing are written so that you will never collect. They require that the vehicle be inspected annually, and the time frame for such inspection can be as little as a week
I would never pay for rustproofing.
