Pete Post Named President of the Tra

The Texas Rental Association (TRA) is an association, started in 1958, of rental suppliers, which is now comprised of more than 400 companies, which rent everything from JCB backhoe loaders to Thwaites dumpers. The TRA provides assistance to the rental industry, be it legal, legislative, educational or just support. The new President is Pete Post, owner of two Volvo Rents franchises, and he said, To be named President of the Texas Rental Association is a great honor for which I am very proud. I have been involved in the Texas rental industry for more than 30 years and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to represent so many great people and companies and help move our industry forward.

Post, who has previously occupied the positions of secretary, treasurer and vice president in the TRA, has worked in the industry for three decades. More than 20 years were spent working for Prime equipment, which he helped to grow into a company with more almost 300 premises. 2004 saw Post buy his own Volvo Rents centre, and by 2009, he was able to open a second. Volvo Rents provide rental options on a range of Volvo products, including Skid Steer loaders, mini diggers and backhoe loaders. It also offers a range of tools, including saws, pumps and lifts. The equipment can be rented by the day, the week, and the month, and is available to both industrial and construction companies, and private individuals.

constructiontradex.co.uk is a leading internet marketplace for the buying and selling of heavy equipment.
