Here is just the basic idea of the story: basically it is about two men in NewYork who have worked together in a life of crime for a few year. One day The main character (who i haven't though of a name for yet) gets a phone call from Mr Green who is one of the most powerful gang leaders ( I have looked this up by the way and Gan leaders ofen had fake names like Mr Green) They go and work on a job together but they are betrayed by Mr Green. Frankie who is the main characters partner shoots him before he kill them, But now they know they will have half of NewYorks criminals chasing them. and the book is basically about them running away from gangs and killing and stuff like that. It also has a bit of romance in it.
Here is part of the first chapter:
There was a gentle vibration coming from the V8 engine that rested inside my 1969 Ford Fairlane while my light breathing made a cloud of water vapour float around the car. Rain poured down and made a loud thumping sound on the roof and the occasional flash of lightning would appear in the distance shortly followed by thunder. Frankie had been inside his apartment for well over half an hour now and I knew if we didn’t leave soon we would be late. I put my shivering hand on top of the horn and pounded against it three times. “Come on you idiot, do you want to be shot?” I whispered. Mr Green had called me about a week earlier and told me he wanted to see me at seven AM sharp this Monday, this must have meant something big as Mr Green would never usually bother with low lives like me and Frankie. Mr Green was about as powerful as it gets in New York. He ran everything, if he didn’t like someone they wouldn’t see another tomorrow. Once more I threw my fist against the horn and then swore.
I kept my eye on my watch and watched as the seconds ticked by. Each second was a second closer to us being shot by Mr Green for being late. Then suddenly, just when I though I would have to leave without Frankie his apartment door slammed open. He sprinted towards the car holding his coat over his head as I leaned over and opened the door for him and he was quick to jump in. I shifted the car into first gear. “What took you so long?” I yelled as the car took off. Frankie took his coat from over his head and threw it across the back seat. “I was getting this.” From his back pocket he pulled out a small semi-automatic automag pistol. “You made us late for a bloody gun!” “You can’t trust these types of people. As soon as you turn your back on them they could shoot you in the head.” I turned back to look at the road and didn’t say anymore for a while.
It was about a ten minute drive from Frankie’s apartment to Mr Green’s House and we only had about five minutes to get there so with all the force I could gather I thrust my foot down on the accelerator.
Ok there you go. ( by the way i have looked up the gun names and car names so they are all real) also it is set a few years ago.
There was a gentle vibration coming from the V8 engine that purred under the hood of my 1969 Ford Fairlane, while my light breathing made a cloud of water vapour float around the car.(No. Generally it just condenses on the windows so you can't see out.) Rain poured down and hammered on the roof, and the occasional flash of lightning would appear in the distance, shortly followed by thunder. Frankie had been inside his apartment for well over half an hour now and I knew if we didn’t leave soon we would be late. I put my shivering hand on top of the horn and pounded against it three times. “Come on you idiot, do you want to be shot?” I muttered angrily. Mr Green had called me about a week earlier and told me he wanted to see me at seven sharp this Monday. I kept my eyes on my watch and fretted as the seconds ticked by. Each second was a second closer to us being shot by Mr Green for being late. Then, suddenly, just when I thought I would have to leave without Frankie, his apartment door slammed open. “You made us late for a bloody gun?” I squawked in disbelief.
“You can’t trust these types of people. As soon as you turn your back on them they could shoot you in the head.”
I turned back to look at the road and didn’t say any more for a while.

Just a few alterations. Make sure a new voice has a new line, so there's no confusion as to who's speaking. Very well written, so far.
