Is This Foul Play, or Just a Freak Coincidence?

I obviously have suspicious, but, I really don't know if I'm just being paraniod.

First of all, let me say that I am in the middle of a very nasty divorce, and my ex-wife in not above doing something like this and has freinds who would be willing to help, and she probably has a spare key to my car.

Also, somebody recently broke into or tried to break into the trunk of my car, damaging the lock. I don't keep anything in the trunk of my car of any value or importance, but I do use the trunk of my car to transport important documents to and from the ourthouse, where somebody might have seen me place these items into the trunk or removed them from the trunk.

So here's what happened I went to the local high shcool for a 2-hour appointment. I drove 10 minutes and about 6 miles directly to the school, parked the car, and went inside normally, and noticed nothing the whole time. When I came out, I got in my car started it normally, then began to back out of the parking space. Then I immediately noticed that I had a completely flat tire. I pulled back into the parking space and saw that the tire was totally flat and off the rim. I had noticed nothing before backing out of the parking space at the school. the car ran and handled normally, and I had noticed nothing when I got into the car to go to this appointment, or out of the car to go into the school. I rempoved the wheel, and immediately noticed that there was brake fluid all over the inside of the tire, but none or very little on the ground. It was fresh and there was a lot of it about a 8-inch by 8-inch area was covered, and only on one side of the tire (presumably the side on the bottom at the time). there was some brake fluid pooled int he wheel when I got the it off the car and layed it flat. I checked the brakes on that side,a nd made sure the valve on the brake calipers wason tight, and saw no other obvious problems, and saw no brake fluid except on the wheel and a little on the pavement, and had someone start the engine while it was up on the jack and pump the brakes with the engine running and saw nothing. I put the spare on, and started the car. Then everything in the car started blinking. I shut off the car, and tried to start it again, It acted like it had a totally dead battery. I took a look at the battery, and the engine, and didn't see anything wrong at the time. I called somebody and had them take me Wal-mart because I had fried my jumper cables tring to jump-start a car in the dark. We got new jumper cables from Wal-mart, came back and jumped the car, but it immediately died after we got it running and put everythign away. The same thing happened two more times. The third time, I was actually driving through the parking lot. when the engine died. I got it towed and fixed.

Turns out there was nothing wrong with my tire except it had no air and had come off the rim when I tried to back ut of the parkign space at the school, so they just put it back on the rim and put air in it. The tire was about 3 months old. I had topped off the air in tall the tires about a month earlier, and at the time they were only about 5 PSI low. The mechanic tested the tire and I have been driving it since and nothing is wrong with it.

As for the electrical problem,I don't knoe how I missed it, but the alternator belt was completely gone when it got to the shop. Otherwise nothing was wrong, they could not find anything wrong with the brakes. Neverless, the towing and everything cost me $248.

My question is:

Was this a freak coincidence or did somebody let the air out of my tires, un-screw the value on the brake caliper, and cut my alternator belt?

Suggestion:

I'm going to view this as circumstantial.Bizarre as it seems, things do happen sometimes.
For someone to sit there holding the tire valve open in the parking lot would be unrealistic. If it had been cut, then yes it was intentional.Fluid on and in the wheel and tire is really weird. But,how would someone open the bleeder valve, depress the brake pedal, then tighten the valve, all with the car not raised in the air?Something must of splashed on it earlier, maybe in the same incident that caused the tire to separate from the rim seal.
The alternator belt missing is pretty strange too.Was the car locked so that the hood latch could not be pulled?
It may of just plain broken and fallen off,it happens.Someone attempting to breaking into the trunk? It happens,be sure that's what actually damaged the lock.I see why you are suspicious,I would be too. There is no proof or even evidence that any of this was malicious.
