Is a 1994 Ford Thunderbird a Good Reliable Car for 1400? Best Answer 10points!?

So im looking to buy a car as my first car since im 16 and just got my license. This car is clean inside and out, no rust, no dents and has 97k miles on it. The guy is selling for 1400 and I was wondering if its a good deal for that type of car? It is my first car and I wanted a sportier looking car so I thought that would be perfect. Everything works like the heat, ac, and everything.

Several of my friends had old fords and they all had many problems with reliability. If the car seems in good condition and runs well and doesn't look like a lemon it should be a good deal. Just check with the seller and make sure there isn't any history of electrical problems with the car. A short in the circuits can cause lots of trouble and make it not worth it to get the car, so just be sure the car will be reliable. Otherwise, those cars are pretty sporty looking and good.
