Insurance Claim Against Vandalism to My Car?

My car has recently been keyed leaving a swirley line down the whole lengh of the car. The question I'm asking is will be worth while making a claim through my insurers?

Suggestion:

Depends on the costs of getting it repaired and the amount of deductible you would have to pay. Do the math, $800 of repairs for a $1,000 deductible wouldn't be worth it.
