If one were to take the car and trucks to avoid list in the latest Consumers Reports seriously, Ford is the best. In the Chevrolet line up alone there are more models and years to avoid buying then in the entire Ford Motor Company's models to avoid. Toyota thinks just like GM only a little different. As for Dodge, who knows, Fix It Again Tony is now in charge there. But maybe Fiat has learned a few things sense the 70's. They use to be as reliable as a Mitsubishi and that is not a complement.
Now don't get me wrong Fiat and Mitsubishi have their place in the auto market, after all some one has to make GM look good and at that they are very good.
I Need Some Opinions Please?

These days, they're all mostly reliable. Though for older models of cars, I would read online consumer reviews. One year/make of a Chevy may be reliable and others not so much.
A friend of mines 90's Ford F-150 hit 400,000k miles, which is very impressive. And I hear of Toyota's going even farther then that. A lot of it depends if you take care of the car or not.
Toyota would top the list for most reliable cars. Ford would be second for trucks and Dodge as well. Chevy would be last (sad to say as I'm a Chevy guy). Check out the least reliable cars below. The Toyota Camry is one of the most reliable cars out there.
