How Do I Talk to My Aunt About Buying Me a Car?

So here's the deal. I'm 19. I have a job at goodwill (I'm not special or anything) and i work only part time making 7.25 an hour. I start college in 2 weeks. Well my license tags expire on september first and my check engine light is on. I went by auto zone and so many things are wrong with it. Vacuum leaks, ignition coil problems, catalytic converter, and the cars computer. It would cost more to get it fixed than what the car is worth. I have to have a car for my job. My boss told me if i didn't have one then I wouldn't work there anymore. This is the only job available to me since we're in this recession. My aunt seems like the only option i have to ask for help. My parents nor I can afford to buy one. My aunt just sold a house for $150k. She's always telling me she would do anything for me and that i'm her favorite nephew. I would pay her every month like $100-$150. But what is the most gentle way to even approach it? Thanks everyone.
P.S. I can't even ask my dad about it. He would kill me if i did. He's very protective over her.

Suggestion:

Hey! all you can really do is make a copy of your question, and take it over and let her read it, it says all you`d want to say, right. all she can say is no, and let her know there is no hard feelings, but I bet when your aunt reads this she see your need for automobile, look for a small used car in good shape, with your income don`t tell her $100.00-150 per month, tell her $50.00 and you`ll come over on the weekend and help her out, with anything that needs done, when your not working, OK Buddy that is what I think, Hey! good luck and God bless, you sound like a neat dude.

Sweet talk her, and tell her you can use the car to run errands for her.
