How Do I Part out My Car?
I have a 2000 Chevy Cavalier that died on me. I was going to sell it until it died on me. I can call a junk yard and get like $300 for it but I think I can make more money if I part it out but I dont know the first thing about selling the parts. I just need some pointers to get started in the right direction.

Not really a lot of cavaliers on te street anymore I think I'd take the 300 and walk away but you can post an ad on craig's list and your local auto trader maybe check the internet for cavalier forums,somebody may be looking for what you have

Best thing to do is put an ad on saying 2000 Cavalier parts car, and try and get $500 for it as a complete car. Or you can do a self service type thing so you don't waste your time, they pull the parts and pay you. Then after you are sick of seeing it in your yard rent a car dolly from u haul and take it to the junk yard.
you remove the good parts and sell them. starter, alt, tires etc.
Advertise that you are parting it out on craigslist.
