To boost your weak battery, you attach + to + and – to – with jumper cables.
Do not trust color codes.
Do not let leads short together or touch anything else, once on one battery.
Then rev the engine of the car that has started, for about 15 minutes, in order to charge up your battery.
This is to avoid you blowing out your alternator once your car does get started, because if the battery is really that low, the alternator will burn up trying to charge it.
(It is even better to just have your battery on a charger for an hour instead.)
Then it could be the key still does not make the starter work.
For example, the neutral safety switch or ignition could be bad.
In which case you can use a screwdriver to short main power from the starter solenoid, to the small energizing tab on the starter solenoid.
This is dangerous because you will be in the engine compartment as the fan starts turning, and the vehicle could even move, if it was a manual transmission.

Should be two connections labeled jump start connections
One red that I believe is on the drivers strut tower or behind the passenger head light
if you can't find a black one then connect it to the engine itself, usually the lift bracket works
If you have no idea what I mean, call someone before you blow up the starter or worse and have to spend about $600 or worse to repair it
REally??? Jumper cables an another vehicle.. Duh!!
On the right side, look for the fuse block. There should be a red cap looking thing, open it & attach the red positive cable to it, the black(Negative) can either be attached to the strut bolts or clamped on the power steering metal hose at the pump. But you got to have good cables to do this, if you got crap cables, most likely you will need to pull the rear sear cushion up & hook directly to the battery
