Help My Car Won't Start? the Battery is Good and It Makes One Click Sound in the Motor When I Turn the Key?

Help my car won't start? The battery is good. It makes one click sound in the motor when I turn the key? maybe it's the starter or alternator or a fuse but not sure? I can hear the computer and/or electronic sounds engage when I turn the key but when I make the finally twist that normally cranks over a car it only clicks one time? Battery is testing good.

Other than it being a 2004 Dodge Intrepid SE 2.7L 4 door, what else can the problem be? LOL! I knew I should have bought a Honda or Toyota but got sucker punched with the price on this one.

Any mechanical Help Please thanks!

Suggestion:

Check your connections at the battery and starter…

then test the starter itself

it could be the starter i would lightly tap on starter and try again if that works then you will need a starter replaced .

How are you checking the battery?? Just because the lights and radio come on, doesn't mean the battery is good. They only take a few amps, the starter pulls 300 amps. Other than that, clean and tighten the battery connections.
