Handlebar Risers for Bmw K1200rand S Motorcycles

One of the problems with making motorcycle handlebar risers is to get them just right. I mean just how much rise do you want? Until you fitted them and have sat on the bike you don’t know if they have just the right amount of rise. Another thing is what if you want them to be a little bit more forward or backward. What if you want them to be swept. There are so many different positions they can be put in how do you know where is the right position before you outlay quite a bit of money to find out. It is just one big guess until you fit them to your bike and go for a ride.

Enter the adjustable riser.
Well riser is not really the best word to describe it because with these adjustable “risers” they can be set in a range of positions from rise to lower to forward to rearward depending on where you find the most comfortable position.

Now that’s not possible with any other bar on the market today. This means that a rider can position the bar for perfect comfort and riding position with only having to buy just one set of bars. No more buying and fitting a “riser” only to find it is still not quite where you want it. You like it up a bit but you would also like it a bit more forward. No problem with the Flood adjustable bar. You can set it just exactly in that spot where it is the most comfortable and then lock it down right there.

Swept Bars
Maybe you prefer swept bars. Dave makes sets of 8 degree swept bars that also are adjustable so you can set them too just where you want them for maximum comfort so you don’t come back from a ride with aches everywhere. The swept bars are very popular because when turning, your wrists are not under the same strain as they are with straight bars. This can make a big difference on rides through hilly country where there are many twists and turns and your wrists are moving all the time. You can finish the ride without stress or aches.

Down Side
The down side to these bars is they are only made for the BMW K1300R&S, the K1200R&S and the R1200S models. But if you own one of these you are in for a treat as these bars are made of super strong T6 aluminum and carved out from a solid billet.
