Reading the instructions…it says the unit should be charged for at least 48 hours before using. It specifies that one end of the AC charging unit should be plugged into a 120V AC power source and the other end into the jumpstart charging port.
What is a 120V AC power source. I thought it just plugged into your homes electrical outlet. Is that a 120V AC power source???
Yes, just plug it into the household outlet.
If you turn the lights on every time you drive and turn them off every time you turn off the engine it will become part of your routine. It's hard to remember to turn off the lights if you only do it sometimes. Car batteries hate to be completely discharged like that and the alternator hates to be used to charge a dead battery after you jump start it. My son-in-law was doing that with his Honda (the chime wasn't working) and the battery only lasted a year. Fortunately, he was able to bring it home – just three miles at low speeds – and charge the battery on a charger each time so he didn't burn up the $300 alternator. That is a habit you need to work very hard to break because it gets so expensive so fast.

yes – a standard household outlet is 120VAC.
in a regular house, every outlet is 110v-120v AC.
the one for your drier is 220v-240v AC
Dont worry, it just means plug it into your regular wall socket for 48 hours before the first use.
that 48 hours, like other first charges, is just to make sure it has all the juice and works right
past that you just leave it in according to the directions
Hope this helps
Yes the 120 Volt refers to house current. When you use the booster on the battery be sure to connect the positive to the positive and the negative to a ground.. NOT the battery. This can cause sparks and result in an explosion.
Plug it into a normal electrical outlet in your house, which is 120V AC.
