Bought a Car in Pa 10 Years Ago – Never Received Title. Now Live in Va. How Can I Get the Title?

We purchased a car 10 years ago in PA. Paid it off 2 months after purchasing and never received the title. We have a letter from the bank stating that the car has been paid off, etc.

We now live in VA and I want to get the title for the car so we can sell it. Any suggestions for how to get the title without travelling to PA or using getnewtitle.com?

It'll cost $22.50 and you need to have it signed in front of a notary.

You can mail it into Harrisburg.

You need to make sure that the title indicates the lien has been satisfied. You'll probably want to have the lien holder sign that the lien is no longer applicable.
