If someone with mechanical knowledge give me some inside advice. Stay away or if its a easy fix.
I have been told from some friends you have to drive a car 90 miles for the computer to reset its self on most new cars after the battery dies for some time. Is that true? Could you list a list of things that could be wrong with a estimate amount of money that it would cost to fix it? Would you even buy it? Email me at marlene.t.vang@gmail.com if any questions in order to answer my questions if possible could you give me some kind of contact like a email in case i have further questions
THANKS!
Sometimes a car can be a lemon right off the lot… sometimes it takes a while. Whether or not the state requires emissions testing is irrelevent. If the car has low miles and the dealer can't even get it to pass emissions, then the car must ot be worth the time, effort, ot money to repair it properly. The dealer is probably trying to just get rid of the "great deal" they thought they had when they purchased the car initially.
Without even asking one question, I can tell you if you intend on keeping this car for any long period of time and you need reliable transportation, pass. Go out and find something else. There are a lot of deals out there. Don't settle on this.
